Modern pet vaccines are safe and effective

While the Rabies vaccination is the only one that is required by law for all dogs and cats, several other core vaccines are recommended for all pets. They protect animals against the most common illnesses, like parvovirus and feline calicivirus. 

There are also non-core vaccines that we recommend based on lifestyle factors. We’ll ask you questions like whether your cat goes outside or your dog frequents dog parks or doggy daycare to help you determine which non-core vaccines they need. We encourage you to answer all of our questions truthfully so we can make sure your pet has the protection they need.
